چکیده

Classical dissections convert any planar polygonal region onto any other polygonal region having the same area. If two convex polygonal regions are isoparametric, that is, have equal areas and equal perimeters, our main result states that there is always a dissection, called a complete dissection, that converts not only the regions but also their boundaries onto one another. The proof is constructive and provides a general method for complete dissection using frames of constant width. This leads to a new object of study: isoparametric polygonal frames, for which we show that a complete dissection of one convex polygonal frame onto any other always exists. We also show that every complete dissection can be done without flipping any of the pieces. Dedicated to the memory of Martin Gardner

The Anterior Interosseus Artery Perforator Flap: Anatomical Dissections and Clinical Study

BACKGROUND Reconstruction of upper extremity deformities continues to be a challenge to the reconstructive surgeon. Various loco regional, distant and free flaps are available for reconstruction. However, each has its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Of the commonly performed local flaps, radial artery forearm flap, and the posterior interosseus artery flap stand out prominently. Rec...

Polyhedral Characterization of Reversible Hinged Dissections

We prove that two polygons A and B have a reversible hinged dissection (a chain hinged dissection that reverses inside and outside boundaries when folding between A and B) if and only if A and B are two non-crossing nets of a common polyhedron. Furthermore, monotone hinged dissections (where all hinges rotate in the same direction when changing from A to B) correspond exactly to non-crossing ne...

Study of institutional Collaboration in the management Structure of the City Regions Case Study: Process of determining the city of Qazvin Growth boundaries.

This article is about the institutional collaboration in the management structure of a city-region. To achieve this purpose, corporate limits of Qazvin are studied as the city is becoming a region.  The possible institutional cooperative in the centralist governmental structure is planned based on the new regionalism theory and its governance pattern, new institutionalism theory and its emphas...

Flow Behavior of SP-700 Titanium Alloy During Hot Tensile Deformation in α+β and β Phase Regions

In this paper, in order to study the flow behavior and elongation of as-cast ingots of SP-700 titanium alloy, hot tensile test was done in α/β dual phase and β single phase regions using strain rate of 0.1 s-1. Results showed that the hot tensile behavior of SP-700 in the α/β dual phase region (700-900 ºC) was different from the β single phase one (950-1100 ºC) due to the nature of alpha and be...
